Rocky Mountain Power Lend a Hand utility bill donation program.

Donations from customers are used as part of the Rocky Mountain Power Lend a Hand program to assist low income families. The utility company works with non-profits such as the American Red Cross to provide assistance to struggling customers, with a focus on seniors and disabled.

Anyone can donate to the program. Hundreds of customers, local businesses, and other contribute. It is a great way to give back to the community and make a difference. People can donate either one time or by adding an amount to their monthly utility bill. In many cases, Rocky Mountain Power will match the contributions. For example, in Utah they contribute $2 for every $1 donated by customers or employees. So this will make the program even more effective. This money will go directly to energy assistance programs in Utah.
