Dominion Hope - They will lower your gas and utility bill rates by twenty percent on your gas bills from December through April of each year. This program is for West Virginia families who are on the food stamp or those who are SSI recipients that are 60 years of age or older. Dominion Hope also offers the Heat Fund, which will assist lower income families with paying their gas and heating bills. The Salvation Army administrates this assistance fund which is made up of donations from both customers, local charities and employees of Dominion. In addition, Dominion will also match dollar for dollar all cash grants provided.

West Virginia Utility Assistance Program - This is an energy bill assistance fund operated by Dollar Energy It assists families with paying gas, electric, heating, and utility bills. 20% Discount Utility Bill Assistance Program - This program created and provides a Special Reduced Residential Service Rate Program. It is basically provides a 20% utility bill discount. The assistance program was established to assist West Virginia families with receiving a 20% discount on their bills.

Tel-Assistance/LIFELINE and Link-Up - Through the Tel-Assistance/Lifeline assistance program, telephone companies offer reduced basic service prices and savings to eligible lower income elderly and disabled customers in West Virginia.
Mon Power - This company participates in Dollar Energy. The donation program can help certain low income households in West Virginia, that use Mon Power, with paying utility as well as heating bills. Read more.
